Thames Coast is a free guide to everything happening in New London, Groton and Mystic, Connecticut. One place to see what’s on this weekend, and one place to post your own event.
What this is
We started Thames Coast because there wasn’t one good place to see everything going on along this stretch of the coast. Town calendars, library boards, venue pages, Facebook groups, it was all scattered. So we put it in one spot, sorted by day, filterable by town and category, free for everyone.
The Thames Coast
The Thames Coast is New London, Groton and Mystic, three towns where the Thames River meets Long Island Sound in southeastern Connecticut. New to the area? These three towns sit within a few minutes of each other, and there’s usually something on in at least one of them.

How it works
Browsing is free and always will be. Posting an event is free too, no account, just an email. Most events go live right away. New posters get a quick check first, usually up within a day. If you’d rather hear it once a week, the Friday email rounds up what’s on for the coming weekend. Anyone running an event can post it in about two minutes.
For businesses
If you run a business here, you can get featured in front of people planning their weekend. The first 50 businesses to claim a spot lock the lowest rate forever. More on the featured page.
Who runs it
Thames Coast is built and run by Elevare Studio LLC, a small studio in the area that builds websites and marketing for local businesses.
